BLACK BELTS

all american karate schoolJohn Lipari is a 7th degree black belt. He began training with Dr. Robert Pavelsky in Corona, California in 1984. He received his Shodan in Budo Ikkon Karate in 1986. In 1987, Sensei Lipari opened his own dojo in Riverside, California and began teaching the Budo Ikkon system of karate. When Dr. Pavelsky retired, Sensei Lipari bought the Corona dojo. After refining the Budo Ikkon system in 1992, he renamed it American Karate. Under Sensei John’s direction, the school has grown to over 300 students. He has promoted over 50 students to Shodan. Several of those students remain active black belt instructors at All American Karate. In addition to his black belt rank with Dr. Pavelsky, Sensei Lipari has also earned black belts from Master Ken Penland in karate and Master Aan Tan in judo
all american karate school Sensei Ed Surman is a 4th degree Black Belt in karate and a 2nd degree Black Belt in Judo. Sensei Ed is an instructor in both karate and Judo at the school. He brings a broad base of knowledge to the school from his day job of middle school counselor.
all american karate school Sensei Rob Rodriguez is a 2nd degree Black Belt. After leaving karate for several years to pursue other sports, he has returned to the school and is a valued member of the staff.
all american karate school Sensei Rae Ellen Anderson is a 4th degree Black Belt in karate and a 2nd degree Black Belt in Judo. She assists the school administratively (and does her best to keep Sensei on schedule).
 Sensei Sean Anderson is a 3rd degree Black Belt. After taking a break during high school to concentrate on classes and theater performance, Sensei Sean has returned to the school as an instructor.
Sensei Kirby Suniga is a first degree black belt and has trained at All American karate since 2004. He plays saxophone for Santiago High School. In his free time, he plays the ukulele and goes bodyboarding.
all american karate schoolSensei Tammy is a 2nd degree black belt. She has trained at All American Karate since 2002. She is a special education teacher who works with students with severe to profound disabilities.
all american karate school Sensei Nicole Lipari is a 1st degree Black Belt. As Sensei John’s daughter, Sensei Nicole has the distinction of training since birth.
all american karate school Sensei Daryl Stockman is a 3rd degree Black Belt. In addition to teaching, Sensei Daryl is active in training for tournament competition.
all american karate school Sensei Julie Willey is a 1st degree Black Belt.
all american karate school Sensei Sheri Barbre is a 1st degree Black Belt. She assists mostly with the morning classes. Sensei Sheri followed her son Sensei Bryan Barbre.
Sensei Rob Lepore is a first degree black belt.
 Sensei Diane is a first degree black belt and has been at All American Karate since 2003. She is active in many tournaments and has won over 100 trophies.
Sensei Allison Keen is a first degree black belt.
Sensei Matthew Varela is a first degree black belt.
Matthew achieved his black belt on January 31, 2009 at the age of 11. He enjoys helping instruct the lower belt classes and doing judo on Saturday mornings. His favorite past time is playing Wii (or any other video game).
Sensei Alexa Withers is a first degree black belt
Sensei Bill DeGroot is a First degree black belt. He assists mostly in the morning classes.
Sensei Kelsee Calderon is a first degree black belt.
 Sensei Jade Lipari is a first degree black belt.
